Betty Steflik Preserve
Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve is the easiest close-to-town choice for a quiet boardwalk walk through Flagler Beach's salt marsh and maritime hammock. The 320-acre preserve has raised boardwalks, unpaved trails, a fishing pier, wildlife viewing, restrooms, and a picnic pavilion. Go early for cooler temperatures and active birds, stay on the trail, and watch for gopher tortoises near the parking area.
